I'm taking Literature of the Old and New Testament and can't find anywhere in the book the answer to this question. The question is set up as a chart...well anyway, here are the choices...

Just tell me, "Protestants consider (answer) (answer) and (answer) to be scriptures."

Books:
1 Maccabees
Song of Solomon
Obadiah
Wisdom of Solomon

Faiths:
Protestant
Catholic
Orthodox
Jewish

Thank you! I searched for about an hour for the answer but I could not find it, and it's driving me crazy.

I know the book of 1 Maccabees is in the Apocrypha which is a part of the Catholic Bible.

Song of Solomon and Obadiah are a part of the regular Bible used by most Christians.

I would have to look it up but I thought Song of Solomon and Wisdom of Solomon were the same thing just different names.

Protestants consider Song of Solomon, Obadiah, and wisdom of Solomon (which I think is like Song of Solomon) as scripture.

Song of Solomon and Obadiah are found in Protestant bibles. the other two were removed by Protestant "reformers"

Don't you think htat is an odd thing for people who have the doctrine of sola scriptura to do?

there are about 30 books not included in the bible, and they speak of jesus and others in a negative light....perhaps we should disregard the "scriptures" we have and open our minds
