Do you not remember being 12,13 & 14 and having the "love of your life" break up with you. I sure do. That's what we all go through. And at this age it is a big deal. It's the biggest deal they've experienced so far in life. They can't possbily compare it to an adult relationship because they haven't had one. One day they will look back and laugh (just like we all do) and say "I can't believe I cried over that dork". But heartache hurts the same at 13 as it does at 30.

I am so glad that you asked or stated this comment!!
I think that in todays world being a wife or husband is not as serious as it was in the 50 and 60's!!
I also think that the parents to these kids should get more involed in there computer habits and see what they are asking in these kinds of forums!!
I saw one that a girl wanted to know how to get married at 15 and where it was legal!! I thought girl your crazy!!
I got married at 20, but that was after highschool, The Navy and I was in nursing school!! So I knew what I was doing!! I am still married after 7 years..
I never had sex while in school, drank or even tried drugs! I still had fun though! That is what is worng with these kids , there world revoles around rap music or reggetone that they try to live up to it!!
Sex, drugs and rock in roll are not always a good thing!!
I just hope that I have set an example to my daughter on how a REAL woman respects her self.

These are pretty good questions. I guess maybe it is because they think that they are living their lives to the fullest. Why else would it be the "in" thing to have sex before you are 16? I mean, what happened to the days when people waited for marriage? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude or anything, I just think kids are growing up way too fast for their own good. They will be adults soon enough, why rush it? They think being an adult is easy and fun and everything like that. Just wait until Mommy and Daddy aren't paying for everything and then see what they say.

i dont understand y all teens (or younger) think that they will or have to find the love of their life now, its really just infautation or a crush.......but the reason 4 it is because kids are growing up faster every day
14 year olds now act like 18 year olds would have 20 years ago changing times.........

idk, but i hate when 14 year olds are like "Lets have sex so we can get pregnant, and that way we'll stay together forever, no matter what our parents say!" That actually happened to my cousin when she was 14 and her bf was 18, but even then IT DIDNT LAST! I mean, i always knew i was in love with my boyfriend when I was in high school but now that i'm out and we're still together, i can imagine us together for a looooooong long time. And "touche" on that little parent situation.... so true.

C'mon, surely you remember when you and your peers where that age...it felt like love to us because we didn't have anything else to compare it to...it hurt to break up, it was euphoria to have someone you dig, dig you back.
They're just being kids...going through what they need to go through on their way to adulthood and adult relationships...what troubles me more is the dating and sex a few years too young...kids are being forced and allowed to grow up faster these days, than their parents or grandparents generations did.

because when children become teenagers they start to see themselves as adults and think they have all the facilities of an adult. Take it in stride and know that eventually they will know how they feel and forget all the stupid jr high/high school drama.

Because they are typical kids. They want to be grown even though they are not. Also, they watch all that mess on television and then they take it as real life and try to emulate it.

I totally agree with you but kids this days fall in love so fast all you have to do is tell them what they wanna hear, they don't wanna listen they think they know it all they have to learn on their own thats all i have to say. but to me LOVE HURTS SO I TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM IT, LOVE IS LIKE A GAME SOMEONE HAS TO WIN AND LOSE AND I DON'T WANNA BE THE ONE LOSING
