I'm American. However, I was born there and lived there until I was five years old, and I am still fluent in Russian. Two of my aunts live there, and they are helping me set up. I'm 19. A lot of my mom's family lives there (I'm only 1/4 Russian though). What is life like for women in the Russian military?

Didn't you ask the exact same question, like, a couple of months ago? I told you then, and it's still the case now, that if you do, you will lose your US citizenship. The law hasn't changed since then.

Seems like I have seen a picture similar to this posted very recently.

There is no comparison to the life in the Russian Military and the USA.
In fact there is no comparing the two period.
The Russian military like all ex-soviet block states is in dire need of money, new equipment and over-all a change of mentality.

Communism is gone but its not gone if you understand my meaning, they will always consider you with distrust as you are not a true born Russian, and possibly will spend a lot of time trying to get you to go to the USA and spy for them.

Old habits die hard, the KGB is not the KGB but the same people still run it.

Life for women in Russia in general is hard, its a very chauvinistic orientated society, I see it here everyday in Romania where I live.

You probably couldn't make a worst mistake in your entire life. If the Russians accept you into their military it will automatically invalidate your American citizenship. Do you keep up with current events? Hear about the Russian Army unit that was using their young recruits as models on an Internet gay sex porn site? Guess what, where do you think they get all their female models from??

How is life for a woman in the Russian military? You are kidding, right? They will most likely use you and abuse you in whatever way they like. You would be better off selling yourself into white slavery to some Arab or Asian then volunteering to be in the Russian Military!!!
