Just to say thanks to all who answered! Thankfully it seems to be a 'false alarm!' Wee cat is on the mend! It seems old age is finally catching up with 'Lula!' We panicked a bit but thanks again!

My next door neighbour found a poisoned cat in his garden a few days ago which was having seizures. They said it was my fault because I put rat poison out as a pest control measure, but I've been searching the Internet and apparently rat poison doesn't induce fits, whereas poisoning by slug pellets can. I don't use slug pellets, but my neighbours do.

I'm pleased your cat is OK, you must have been worried for a while.
