the fact that the bible is a false cult book, and xianity is based upon a boook full of mythological nonsense -- that alone will be the reason for its eventual fall
atheism may never "prevail" over a cult -- if prevailing means sheer numbers. people are inherently more interested in cultism, than they are in being intelligent and aware of the natural world.
they choose to feed off of pretty, sparkly cult nonsense that promises a bunch of flowery rhetoric about eternity and life after death, etc.

There are over 2,039 million Christians in this world, and a very low percentage of Atheists (150 million). I doubt that Atheism will outbeat Christianity any time soon. If anything, Islam would be closer to prevail Christianity, with a whopping number of 1,226 million Islams in the world.

The ongoing research by science and technology may possibly collapse Christianity, although I disagree with atheism prevailing.

Eventually, yes it will. Atheism has grown over 480% in the last 30 years. Christianity has stayed about the same. It is only a matter of time.

Well atheism has always prevailed over religion. Anytime people reject one mythology for another, atheism wins.
Now if only people could understand that ALL religions are based on myths and fairy tales, what a wonderful world this would be.

I don't see it as prevailing over Christianity anytime soon, just a natural occurrence that will happen over a rather large time frame. This is of course assuming that we continue to progress technologically, and there continues to be no evidence of God outside of the Bible saying there is one.

properly atheism is basically a loss of theory in god or gods, that's it. there is not probable something greater to it - the lack of ability of theory, I propose. As a Muslim, I also have a pair of acquaintances who're atheists. they're solid human beings, and we get alongside positive.

The only people that move this world forward are those that think outside the box. They are probably 99% of the time Atheist or willing to fight against the strictures of religion like Galileo.

Nope. Religion gives people relief from their fear of the unknown, whether it's praying over someone sick in the hospital, or sacrificing an animal to make it rain. If we haven't abandoned religion by now, we never will.

Seems like after generations of Christians trying to disprove evolution, evolution is going to disprove Christians.
