Ahhhhh.......what a wonderful question!!!! I believe there is a real fundamental perception about finding your ideal match using the Chinese month and year sign chart. This match listed by animal name, ie., rat, ox, rabbit, snake, etc., and the year you were born, has very realistic and common features about your personality and that of your ideal mate. It also, tells guides you as to what type of person to avoid in relationships. Who really knows if these signs are correct......you may be critical of these charts, but can you really dismiss them so easily....I do not believe so. These charts have been around since, well, who knows really.....but let's just say (a long time......ages). You should check it out and see what is listed as your compatible sign......and based on the information you receive, and the way you perceive yourself to be......then you can make a decision as to whether this chart has any merit or not. I know that for me, this chart has definitely been of great insight.

If you can supply the natal chart of a candidate, yes. But you have a whole world to choose from for a possible spouse. Why limit yourself? Enjoy the search.

I took the 'test' at Ivillage to see what my soulmate was supposed to be, and was amazed at how accurately it 'predicted' my relationship with my wife of 27 years.

The 'proof' offered to discredit astrology is limited at best. And there is much anecdotal evidence that shows it can be incredibly accurate.

There are all kinds of people in this world, and there is nothing new under the sun, so whatever the horoscope reads, it's only giving information that applies to a percentage of people, possibly based on some type of survey or study, but the outcome is not set in stone for everyone, so you cannot totally depend on it's readings to make important decisions.

Even though a birth chart seems to have a lot of detailed information, it is still always just vague enough to be applicable to most people at some point in their lives. I used to do detailed charts, and have found that you should never rely on them for anything other than entertainment.

No I believe horoscopes etc. are mainly for entertainment purposes only. Also there a thousands of people with the same astrological sign out of those thousands of people with the same astrological sign are they all the same? Every individual is different.

Just for your information the horoscope has been proven to be a complete and total scam time and time again. The position of the stars have no effect on your personality or life in any shape or way.

I would never count on the stars for my mate. They are not accurate.People are individuals and cannot be in a sign just because of a birthdate or time of birth.Pick your spouse on common sense and character of good standing. Most of all love and respect.

You would have to believe in astrology.

My husband's horoscope is compatible with mine. We have a great relationship. We knew about it early on because we took a quiz. Other guys I had dated, our signs weren't compatible and they didn't work out. Maybe it is just a coincidence. I don't know.

Astrology and horoscopes are completely baseless fantasies; nothing more than pseudo-scientific throwbacks to earlier eras of appalling ignorance and superstition.

Let me welcome you, now, to the enlightened 21st Century... even with all its shortcomings.
