Unless it's someone like the what should I do retard who is simply seeking attention, how will reporting a question benefit you? Is this what goes through your minds: "This question offends me. I will teach them a lesson by reporting it, so they will get a violation notice." Do you honestly think this will work? I see Christians here all the time complaining about how rude the athiests are. NO WONDER you are being insulted, patronized, ridiculed, etc. You are deleting legitimate questions. People get pissed off when you do that and will respond in anger. If you, personally, are not reporting questions, there's no need to say "It's not me." That's about as useless as the Muslim who says "I don't believe in suicide bombing." Good for you, but it does nothing to help the problem. Try steping out of defense mode and instead doing something to police your own group of like-minded people. Tell your peers not to rob you of the opportunity to read someone's question.

It's the same mental defect that makes people join the Yahoo "abuse team" or become moderators of message boards or mailing lists. They're weak losers who can't get any respect in the real world, so they report anything they don't like online.
Basically, they're the same kids who snitched on everyone in elementary school, then became hall monitors in high school, and now they're (physically if not mentally) all growed up and inflicting their Weakness on the rest of us.

I agree that there are many report-happy trolls here. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and just because someone disagrees, does not mean they should be reported.
If it does not violate Yahoo! Answers community guidelines, and you have been reported, then reply back to Yahoo! I was reported for something I said... I vaguely remember what my response was, but I do know that I was not insulting or threatening anyone. I replied to Yahoo! and they gave me my points back.
Either way, I have never reported someone just because their views are different then mine. I hardly ever report anyone, and when I do it's because of vulgar or racist language.
*edit: ServantofGod - I have NEVER been reported by Atheists, Wiccans, or Pagans. On the contrary! I have been reported by my own fellow Christians who's views differ than mine.

Hmmm..... this doesn't appear to be one of those thought provoking, intellectual type questions, which I actually enjoy and have answered with sincerity in the past. Oh well. Cheer up, and know that you're not alone. The Catholic-haters are just as mean as the fundies! Maybe even meaner.

Evil prevails when good men do nothing, standards must be kept, I like legitimate questions, but the foolish and childish or the wicked or perverted ones I will not stand for, we are to be light and let people know when wrong is wrong, it is not being harsh, its taking a stand against something that is not right. We must speak and stand up for truth and what is right, or chaos will be the better part of this blog

Worse than that; owners of 'good' accounts which have been deleted get really angry and have nothing to lose by creating another one to hurl abuse.
Getting people's accounts deleted causes the problem that reporting them is supposed to solve.

I do not report people for being rude or upset. I have reported one or two people just for being crude in their language about private body functions that have no business being in the R&S section.

What evidence do you have it is the Christians?
Besides, this could go for the "Atheists" as well.

The same way prayer benefits them - via personal feelings of joy and grandeur.
Nice sentiment - but dont count on it.

They're not going to hear you nor read your post; They're just going to report you.
You can't reason with a fish... and you can't reason with a christian... The both of them only respond to teeth and claw.
Report them right back.
