It depends on where you live
Some states provide the tap as part of the keg fee
Other states require you to rent the tap from another source

You do need a tap when you buy a keg but typically you can either buy or rent them from the beer distributor or whoever you buy beer from (sorry I live in PA).

Usually it comes with the keg. There's a deposit for the keg AND a separate deposit for the tapper. The tapper deposit is a lot higher because the store doesn't want it ripped off. But as long as you return it all, you get your deposits back.

no, most places will let you rent one along with the keg...call and ask first...don't wait till the last minute....there are lots of places out there that do...

Nope when you do a kegger you get the tap with it, just leave a deposit . Sometimes you gotta rent it tho

No. . .they rent those for a 'small fee' as well.
