Hey Brooklyn:

Yes, I also have racing thought almost all the time. You have to learn to weed out and ignore the useless ones and grab onto the good ones and do something with the good ones.

Part of Bipolar is racing thoughts (I have Bipolar) and you have to learn to scan through the and just ignore so moany of the and just let them go. It does not happen over night it takes practice and patience to learn to do this. You will get frustrated, there is no doubt but stick with it, I know you can do it. You are a strong person with much determination. You can succeed at this, just don't give up please.

Be safe and be well

Ugh is right! Not only do I have the thoughts flying all around today, they were flying YESTERDAY -- the LAST DAY of my VACATION -- flitting, flying, scooching and generally not standing still, all about work and what I KNEW I was going to walk into today. Ruined my last day, I did.

Bummer. And here I TEACH meditation. Go figure!

I do have music and I have to watch intrusive stuff.
I also have to say a prayer when I cath myself dwelling on a bygone injustice real or perceived.

Certain thoughts by their very nature a like a small net which cathces other thoughts and it sort of snowballs or tumbleweeds.

Once while doing practice calculus problems I was listening to Yani on the test there were very similiar problems and of course Yani.

Today I have very ugly thoughts flying wound in my head. I have a job where people have come to me about user accounts, etc, and no one seems to remember anything about themselves. I'm talking about things like their usernames, passwords, what courses they are teaching, or taking, or what groups they belong to, etc. yet, I am the one who is supposed to know these things for them. I also appreciate (not) when I ask someone for a file and they print it out and place it on my desk when I asked them to e-mail it to me. When I call them and tell them that I want them to e-mail it to me, they tell me they can't because they didn't "write it as an e-mail" and they can only print it out. Stupid. Yes, there are many thoughts flying around my head today. None of them are good. Thanks for letting me rant.

Hi Brook

Yea i'm in a pretty horrible space right now, my fault tho. Suppose that makes it worse........arghhhhhhhhhhh. We'll be OK soon we just have to keep going, keep trudging thro life. Wish I could say something positive right here - hang on where are those positive affirmation cards.........ah right here beside me........try this one:

"All that i need to know at any given moment is revealed to me. I trust myself, and i trust life"

Yes I can't get rid of the flashbacks and intrusions. Feels like my head is going to explode.

It's awful when you can't get your mind to rest.
