I believe the LDS church thinks that the Garden of Eden is in Independence, Missouri. If you go there, there is some sort of attraction -- I've seen the billboards but never visited it myself.

Personally, I think it's a rather outlandish claim. I wonder what evidence they have for making it?

OMG, your teacher is a mormon, from t he church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, or LDS. they believe that the garden of eden was there (instead of NJ, the garden state...LOL) and that the second coming will be there to and not in the middle east. R U a mormon 2? Your teacher is not FLDS, they are on the boarder of Arizona and UT, only and they are the polygamist FLDS. I was once a mormon for 36 years, I concider this religion to be a cult, so watch out for this stuff if you are not a mormon.

It is a LDS Mormon belief that the Garden of Eden is originally at the place where we now called Missouri.

To us LDS, we believe it, but you can believe it or not, that is your choice.
