Here is some more research on the Book of Exekiel and the problems with Russia and Iran, please let me know your thoughts on this>
The Jewish historian Josephus said, "Magog founded the Magogians, called Scythians by the Greeks. Scythians were a nomadic tribe who inhabited the ancient territory from Central Asia across the southern part of ancient Russia." Today this area is inhabited by the former Soviet Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and possibly northern parts of Afghanistan
Ezekiel 38 is not the same as the war that will come at the end of the tribulation when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist and establish his millennial kingdom.
Verse 22 of Ezekiel tells us that there will be plagues, torrents of rain, hailstones, and burning sulfur. Just as God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, he will destroy these invading forces. Once again, God will make it known to all the nations that He is the Lord.

Why do you insist on insulting "unbelievers"? You are the one blinded by faith, not I.

Jesus asked us to decide not lest ye be judged. The meaning of it somewhat is we are able to't be judgmental in the direction of others with out additionally judging our selves. it somewhat is often misinterpreted to indicate that If we decide others,. I'd like to answer your first question.
I don't think the bible is insane. I do think it is a collection of stories passed down from the time of the Romans (They are the ones who decided what would be in the bible)

I don't think it's insane, just not for me. I think that it is a book of fictional stories meant to teach morals. You have to remember though that society acts and thinks is very different than when the bible was first written. The writings cannot be taken so literal.

You're correct. To unbelievers who are tempted to write that we Christians are "crazy fundies" for posting questions like this, I plead with you: research the current identities of EACH of the countries listed in Ezekiel 38 yourself. The first two are understood by Jewish AND Christian scholars to be Russia and Iran. NEVER in all of history have these two countries had an economic and military alliance as they do today -- and BOTH of these factors are in the prophesies! This is not a bunch of craziness, it will happen soon, unless God Himself intervenes.

Wait! How did Josephus, a late second century writer, know about ancient Russia?

My Pastor last night taught on the fact that we focus so much on when Jesus comes that we forget that when he comes, there will be darkness. It is not something to rejoice in, but something to prepare for. God is preparing us for that time. We won't know when it is going to come, It says that Jesus will come like a thief in the night for a reason. We as christians need to prepare whether it be tomorrow of a thousand years from now. Besides when Jesus comes we will rejoice, but think of all the loss. All the people that didn't believe. That makes my heart sick.

Well... let's see... you believe that a (fictional) cosmic Jewish zombie, who is his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced, by a talking snake with legs, to eat from a magical tree... (etc.)... and that there is something horribly wrong with people who ARE NOT so gullible and droolingly stupid as to believe such outrageously ridiculous codswallop.

Yep... you're right... that's insane.

nothing u have claimed has made any sense yet.

i honestly wonder if your for real sometimes. i cannot figure you out for anything.

but if u wanna talk about blinded, im going to say christians are the ones blinded, they wont even listen to answers that go against their beliefs. they tighten the blindfold. =\

You're assuming that the muslims are the anti-christ when actually, they believe in exactly the same God as you.

So aren't you reading this wrong?

Given that both Russian and Iran believe in exactly the same God as you, what is your point???
