The CIA World Fact Book states 3%-4%. That would make it between 39,655,556 and 52,874,075 based on a population of 1,321,851,888.
The majority are Daoist (Taoist) and Buddhist.
Muslims are 1%-2%.

Most likely 1/3 or less of them are christian. This is based on 1/3 of the world's population being christian, however I'd guess that there are significantly less Christians there than the average.

well to me there are more true Christians in china then in America, we don't worry about our faith or persecution as much as Christians in china do, some have gotten killed, beaten, jailed and lost everything for the gospel. I doubt many people in America who call them selves Christians will ever stand up to that, there is to much pride in America, its to easy to say I am a christian, mega church only hurt us, and it was not gods plan, I am waiting for the day when tanks destroy our buildings and we as Christians are forced under ground for our beliefs, you see that when the chruch is at its strongest. there are many Christians in china, but to give a number puts are brothers and sisters in danger, the government there lies about freedom of religion, and many Christians are persecuted in china

It's difficult to tell as many are members of underground churches that are illegal. The Chinese government is not very friendly to churches that don't support the authority of the state.

Its hard to know, its an underground church, they the leaders call themselves "Uncles" and there are said to be thousands, who hold secret house meetings and half have half of the new testament memorized because it is hard ti get a hold of a bible. my church smuggles (like drugs) bibles into China and trys to set up training centers there to train their leaders. Beleive it or not.
