hindi masala movies are made by the thousands with 10 hide and seek songs and atleast one Nach Baliye Item Number. and at the end of the year every one of the actors/ actresses in almost all categories in some functions sponsored by the big bad marketeers gets a award for gyrating the body upside down, for making extraordinary faces, for being closed to X,Y and Z.
THE SAME IS TRUE FOR GOVT ORG AWARDS FUNCTIONS. should the society regulate these awards.

this is in response to iqst- yahoo in my view is a meeting ground of minds that will shape the future of a country. in this case it is India. indian are seen giving undue importance to REEL hero/heroines than THE REAL hero/heroines from all walks of life. AWARD FUNCTIONS are to be seen in this contest and opinion be form to formulate rures to dis-ban such award functions.

No need to to regulate these dole outs of favouritism. Just ignore them after you already know what they are worth. Let Bollywood cater to the crassest and win their pats.
