Walk away for a little while! Things tend to get clearer when you step back. Generally in any situation.

When my day turns into a real bad one, and I need to relax, if only for a few minutes, in order to clear my head, I sit down in my chair, lean back, place my arms on the arm rests and close my eyes. I try to recall an event in my life, where I was doing something that was very enjoyable, like scuba diving off the coast of Florida, visualizing the beautiful coral beneath me with its many bright colors and the fish darting past in schools or individually, all brightly colored, and this makes a great picture in my mind that enables me to 'leave my office behind' and float back to the place I want to be that was so tranquil and peaceful for me....!
After doing this for just a few minutes, I open my eyes and feel so wonderful inside, at peace with myself and feeling happy.
I may do this four or five times during the time I am in my office and believe me it does help to relieve the stress, makes me relax and enables me to handle whatever it is that comes up next.
Thank you,

See stress, at http://www.ezy-build.net. (.net.nz/~shaneris) on page 7. Use one of the relaxation techniques on page 2 for 15 - 20 mins in your meal break, before, and /or after work, and learn, and employ the EFT version for use in public, which you can reasonably claim is for a headache. You can also use visual meditation, when doing your daily exercise, by focusing on a distant object, like a cloud. Have a therapeutic massage occasionally, as well.

Oh I HEAR you! I am so busy at work, trying to plan my wedding, a birthday party, my honeymoon, find time to do my hair and all of the chores.
The #1 thing you can do to relieve your stress is give yourself something to look forwad to when you come home...whether it is watching your favorite movie, fixing yourself a drink, finishing a project, playing a video game..something fun that makes you sit at work and say WOW this sucks...but I will have fun when I get home.
What I do at work is go on this site, its actually fun answering some of these questions, read craigslist rants and raves, email back and forth with friends, window shopping online, or I take a long walk somewhere. I used to smoke..that always helped.

Wow, I feel your pain. I work for Gordon Gekko...My boss is an absolute psycho. After work, I usually work out until I can feel anything anymore. I work out to the point where my whole body is numb and I can lift anything anymore...I suggest you try the same.
If you are at work...I suggest having some green tea, listening to classical music, have a stress ball or punching bag in the room, trying finding the office slut, having an inspirational picture up to remind you why you are working where you are or towards a goal you want to reach.

When I am stressed and overwhelmed I stop go get a cup of coffee, then gather Everything I have to do and prioritize it. What needs to be done first? Then I check through everything and find out if there are any little things that someone can help me with and try to distribute things out.

Take a quick refresher. Get up, take a walk around, talk to a colleague, if you are allowed-check your e-mail. Anything that gets your mind off the job for a bit. Take deep breaths & exhale really slowly. Good luck! :)
