Jesus spoke Aramaic and probably looked like most Middle Eastern people as was Joseph and Mary who hid in Egypt. Matthew 1 and Luke Chapter 2. Genesis 10 give the lineage of the sons of Noah, Ham being the progenitor of the Arabs, Africans Egyptians etc.... He was of the Davidic bloodline on both sides of the family. Check out this description in Revelation 1:13-15. What does brass look like?

No, he was not white.
He did not have European features.
Those that have depicted him in any manner
so as to worship at the likeness of such are
doing a disgusting thing!!!
U r right, in saying; "another deception."
True Christians are wise to check their homes
& place of worship for such forms of idolatry.
J's W's also do not worship images.
Any person claiming to b Christian
ought to go look up the 10 Commandments.
Exo 20:4,5 ; or Deut 5:8,9
"You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth.
You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion,......"

He probably looked like anyone else, though not necessarily dark haired and dark eyed. His forefather David was described as :
12And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
(1 Samuel 16 )

So at least one forefather of Jesus was red, or had red hair. How many people are asking THAT question?

Jesus was Jewish so he probably looked like the Iranian men. I say Iranian because they are relatively pure with not as much mixing as the current Hebrew people. I think the mid eastern women are so beautiful, and the men are very handsome also. Some are very tall, and Jesus probably looked like them. Or maybe the Persians, they are very nice looking also. He was perfect, so he had to be very handsome. How is it said, "Tall dark and handsome." Some people made note of wooly hair, but I don't think that is applicable. His hair was probably wavy.

I don't believe that the Bible even describes Jesus as being white with blue eyes. The area where he lived he couldn't have been white. White people don't have hair like wool. So in that case the vatican just made an image and the others just stook by it. I believe that Jesus is brown!

From any research I have seen Jesus was more than likely a dark skinned man with dark eyes and curly hair,
Skulls of people in that Reagen and at that time were slightly more rounded Than they are today.
Perhaps we need more informed modern day artists to attempt a new image of what Jesus probably looked like ---I think I will give it a try -thanks for the Idea !

I agree I with you. No need to have paintings and all. Not to worship images is correct. I don't consider him dark skin. I would consider that he is brown skin, beautiful sparkling brown eyes, lustrous dark and a little wavy hair. Complexion that anyone would die for. Teeth that is purest white and perfectly straight. He stand about no less than 6 ft. tall. I picture a beautiful man, inside and outside.
Edit: By the way what is (PBUH)?

I thought most people knew that?
In different countries or even amongst different communities he is portrayed in many different ways. In a predominantly white area you'll likely find more "white pictures of Jesus" because those churches think that their followers will relate better. For example if you go to Mexico you'd find most pictures of Jesus portray him with brown eyes and brown hair.

Jesus was a Jew, he was a Hebrew, he is very dark complected with brown eyes, long brown hair to about the middle of his back and a beard. He pretty much looked like all the other Hebrews except it is said he stood about a foot taller than every other man.
