Islamic point of view:

* No one can absolve your sins except God.
* There is no one in between you and God!
* Man are sinners so they have no power to absolve sins

From The Prophet's Hadith:

The Prophet (salAllahu `alaihi wa sallam) said: "No one of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone."

They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?"

He said, "Not even me, unless Allah covers me with His Grace and Mercy"

Nobody will enter Paradise, no matter how good he was, through his deeds. Good deeds will only be the means to acquire Allah's Mercy and Permission to enter Paradise.

So what are you saying girl?
In Islam you can tell your sins to God directly!

I am a Christian and I tell my sins directly to God. Actually, some of what you wrote is similiar to scriptures I have read in the Bible. Makes you wonder does it not? A lot of religions are very similiar, so why does everyone have to fight and judge others on there beliefs.

The KJV says you cannot enter heaven by just you own deeds. Sounds like he copied what the KJV says.
There actually is someone between God and the people. I know that to be very true.
The only true priest never appeared on the earth till the last days.
You can tell you sins to God. But, be careful what you say, because you might not actually be speaking to God as you'll be assuming. One of the unique things about spirits is that you don't actually know for certain who you're speaking to when you can't see who it is you're speaking to.
That's why all of the priest, except the one true priest, are teaching false teachings. They hadn't been able to verify who had been revealing answers to them. If you can't see the devil and you can't see God, then which of the two answers people's prayers. That goes for all the various believers and non believers.
Anyway, none of the people can cleanse you of your sins. Not even that prophet you mentioned about.

Confession of sins to another person is mainly for situations where you sin against that person. (If you tell a lie about a person for some reason, you would tell that person what you did to seek forgiveness so you still have a relationship with them.) It can also be to seek help with a particular sin you're dealing with. But really, another person can't forgive your sins in the sense that God can absolve us of our sins. It sounds like you're coming from an Islamic point of view, which I'm not very familiar with. From the quotes you gave, however, it sounds like something is missing in our ability to confess our sins directly to God. We need a mediator. When we fell away from God, we broke fellowship with Him. We're basically too dirty to deal directly with Him. However, through His Son, Jesus, we do have that mediator.

The Bible says there is ONE Mediator beteen God and man and that is Jesus. The Bible says that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So regardless what others may say, no Human Priest is needed we can go straight to Jesus. We do not as the Roman Catholics believe, need to ask dead saints to pray for us, we do not need to say a bunch of rosaries, in fact those too are forbidden in scripture since Jesus said not to use repetitive prayers. The Catholics got the idea for the rosary beads from the Hindus, not from the Lord Jesus. We also do not have to beg God for things. The Bible tells us to go boldly before the throne of grace. We can do that if we are a Born Again Christian. Because Jesus opened the way for us into the Holy of Holies. We also have no need of formal times of prayer as some teach, nor prayer in an archaic language. We are to pray from the heart, and God hears us if we ask in Jesus Name. We are not bound by legalistic rules but are free in Jesus to have a direct relationship.

I don't know what allah requires, but Jehovah requires that you need to bring a blood sacrifice. The death of an innocent to cover the sins of the guilty. This requires that you tell the high priest what your sins were, and then the sacrificial lamb is killed over the altar.

This had to be done every year, according to prophet Moses.

But this couldn't remove our sins, so Jehovah God sent His own sacrifice. Prophet Abraham said that Jehovah would provide His own sacrifice.

John the baptizer, the prophet sent from Jehovah God, cried out, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world" when he saw Jesus.

Did these prophets all lie???? The koran certainly calls them prophets. Why don't you believe them?

If Moses and Abraham lied about all this, then why do you even call them messengers from God?

If they WERE, then why don't you believe them?

Jesus is THE Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He shed his blood once and for all, for all time, for all people.

Now then, according to the Scriptures, we have a high priest in the heavenlies. He's no longer on earth, so he can not be corrupted. He didn't bring his blood before the altar made with human hands on earth that the prophet Moses told us to do, but before the altar of God in heaven made without human hands.

We now have such a high priest, Jesus, and when you confess your sins to THIS high priest, He forgives you from heaven, just as he forgave people when he was on earth.

Unless you think that Jesus was a liar when he told the paralytic man that his sins were forgiven??? What kind of messenger tells lies??? Was the koran mistaken about this Jesus?

Or was Jesus really able to forgive sins while he walked this earth, and now forgive sins from his throne in heaven?

If this is the case, that Jesus truly DID come from God, that Jesus truly WAS a messenger sent from God, then you need to tell your sins to Jesus.

The Bible says, "There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus." So, Jesus is THE mediator, the ONLY mediator, and you can not go to God any other way. Prophet Jesus even said "No man comes to the father, but by ME. All others will be cast into outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth."

But that's not all, prophet Jesus accepted and received when people worshipped him! Just who, exactly WAS this man???

Even demons had to obey him! Even the storm had to calm down when Jesus commanded it!

One of his close friends and followers told him, "You are the anointed son of God". Jesus received him and did not rebuke him!

The high priest accused Jesus of blasphemy, and asked him directly, "Are you the son of the Most High God?" Jesus didn't rebuke him, but said "Yes, I am"!!!!!

Just who IS prophet Jesus? Was he a liar? Then the koran is wrong, because the koran says that Jesus was a messenger from God.

If Jesus was a messenger or prophet from God, then you must listen to what he said about himself! Either that, or the koran is one big lie! If the koran is true, then Jesus is the Son of God!

If Jesus is the Son of God, then you must worship Him!

Great question! No one can forgive sins but God and Jesus. According to the Bible we tell people our sins to be healed and so they can help us. James 5:16. Anytime you have a question like this, the answer is in the Bible. As you can tell. Many answer from opinion. In other words, they don't really know.

You CAN tell God directly. But you also have to tell the humans that your sin affected. Those people are the ones who need to know they have been harmed. If you can think of a sin that doesn't hurt anyone, fine. Tell it to God alone. Otherwise, you have a moral duty to put it right WITH THE PEOPLE YOU HARMED.

You mean going to confession? I never understood (im ex-Catholic) the reason for telling my 'sins' to a priest. The church say that a priest has some sort of powers and works as a intermediator to God, but why?

Is it an either-or situation?

You can do both... can't you?
Tell god, and you can be satisfied that the "sins" are "absolved".
Tell the people involved... and they will be satisfied that you don't intend to do it again, and will think better of you for it. Consequentially you should feel better yourself.

Admit your sins to everyone and everything if you feel like it.

sometimes its easy to tell other people your problems because talking them over somehow makes us feel better but if we have a problem were supposed to go to God with everything, a good ideal is write God your prayer tell him whats going on in your life and what you need guidence with and stick it in the bible, and pray for God to read that prayer and help you, writing somehow helps and God will see our prayers no matter how we pray by writing or talking to him, he knows even before we have a problem, ask for it to be his will, hope i helped, have a great day and God bless...
