Let me tell you something, George.
In Missouri, I have to keep a record of everyone I pull over. Race, Age, Gender, Reason For Stop, Resident Status, Whether there was a search, and whether a ticket was issued or not all have to be on that log. The info gets turned in to the state every year so that they can make sure no one is "racially profiling."
The AVERAGE for my department is 15% African American. That's an Average of 85% NON black driver being stopped in my town.
Find something else to whine about.

Who specifically are you asking? I can personally say that I've been pulled over about 6 times for speeding - 3 of those times resulting in a speeding ticket. I have also been pulled over several years ago (and arrested) for dui. In some places, it is rumoed that people can be pulled over for 'driving while black' - my boyfriend jokes about it occasionally - he's a cop (and a black one at that) in another jurisdiction, but one near us is an upper class white neighborhood and the cops there have that kind of reputation.

this white people (meaning me) has been pulled over & taken to jail enough times that i've finally lost count, friend. as a matter of fact, i rarely don't get pulled over if a cop ends up right behind me with time to kill, and if i am pulled over its always the whole nine yards, full search etc... & i almost always get taken to jail even if nothing is found. they take me in on a probation hold usually, which is open ended & kind of serves as a forced check in with probation/the court. and i'm a very white folk. but i sympathize, i hear the stories in custody & apparently you people have to be weary of walking down the street in broad daylight. i've been stopped in the midnight hours on foot, but again, i sympathize.

My "white" son has been pulled over twice in one month. He works graveyard shift in a casino. He also is driving an older Cadillac.I think they pick on people who are out driving late at night and if they are leaving a casino, they may try to see if they have been drinking. It is a pain for him, they always lie that something was wrong with the car, ect.that's why he was stopped.

Oh Jesus H. F-ing Christ , Here we go again! In the five years that I have been a cop, I can count on one hand the "minority" drivers that I have pulled over. Get off it already. Most cops wouldnt even waste their time putting the damn car into drive if there weren't a valid reason to make a stop. All this bi+c#!ng about being treated equal, well-- welcome to the club.

I don't pull over the person I pull over the car. You're car was in violation, whether it be a equipment, vehicle, or moving violation. You just happen to get the ticket cause it's you fault that thier is a violation. Nothing to do with race, just stupidity

My husband pulls over everyone, but actually mostly white people. I wonder why the race card is always being played, how annoying.

97% of the traffic stops made by my department are white people. The other 3% are a variety of other minoritys.

Speaking for myself, I am classified as an "equal opportunity" law enforcement officer. I pull over ANYONE that violates the law, no matter what ethnicity they are.

If you break the law then they can pull you over regardless of your race.
