You could even use a little homemade Thousand Island Dressing. My father showed me how to make it many years ago. Here's the recipe:

Take a water glass. Put about 1" of pickle juice in the bottom of the glass - I use sweet pickle juice. Then put in 2 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 level tablespoon of catsup and 1 level teaspoon of mustard. Add some celery seed (optl) and fresh ground black pepper. Stir with a spoon. OK if there are a few white lumps in it - that's the mayo. If you want to pep it up, add a little cayenne or red pepper to it. Depending on how much pickle juice you use as to whether it's thick or runny. You want it pourable (not too thick) but not watery (too thin).
