i really wanted to know if it is really true, everytime you dewormed your puppies, it is prohibited to receive a bath for 3 days.
the same as anti-rabies vaccination.
is it true or not?

i HAVE OFTEN GIVEN BATHS RIGHT AFTER WORMING AND VACCINATING AND NEVER LOST A PUP OR DOG FROM ANYTHING LIKE THAT
Many times the pup would be left at teh vets to be vaccinated/wormed and then groomed with no problem

The rabies is a shot and it makes no difference if you bath or not after shots as they are injected into the muscle tissue and a bath only deals with the outside of the dog.
As for worming that also goes inside the dogs stomach so why would a bath affect that.
If you are appling a topical flea med or something like that you need to not bath for about three days.

I don't know why that would be true... De-worming and rabies vaccinations are INSIDE the animal.. It's not something you can wash off.

seems how they are either injected or ingested a bath shouldn't effect it at all. if it were a spot on flea treatment, then you couldn't bathe for a few days
