It can if you have too much of it. I used to eat too much hot sauce until it gave me problems, then I backed off the dosage a little--lol.

chances are the food you put that hot sauce on
gave you the tummy ache
peppers have analgesic quality's
food that the taste need be covered by
hot sauce does not.

No, not I - never have. I no longer use it becasue I've graduated to better bottled & non-bottled hot stuffs.

No.....have you ever tried taking an over the counter acid reducer?, that might help.
