And to make their "sacrements" and etc. real and verifiable? For instance, the shahada, in the opinion of some Muslim "scholars", is not legit unless said in Arabic. Also, the koran (quran, whatever) is not a "real" koran unless it is in Arabic. There is no adhan in English or any other language that I have ever heard, and I have been around the world.
But, Chinese Christians pray in Chinese. Finnish Hindus can easily grab a copy of the Bhagavad Gita in Finnish. I have never heard of their worship being invalid.
