I just booked a one-night dinner & dance NY cruise to nowhere for my 1 year anniversary in October. I've never been on a cruise ship so I really don't know what to expect. Should I bring dress clothes for dinner or is it casual? Any advice/info about these types of cruises would also be appreciated. Thanks!

it can be casual if you want , but i would bring dress clothes for dinner. These cruises are fun. I do them out of seattle or vancouver BC. You get on the ship in the afternoon on the day of sailing, get to your cabin/stateroom, You can have a nice dinner, Usually see a broadway type show and see the ship, If the ship goes out far enough, the Casino will open. Theres comedian shows. You will have a great time. Congrats on your anniversary!

On a one night cruise to nowhere, people will dress up for dinner - especially a dinner-dance cruise. I've done a two night cruise to nowhere, and I really enjoy the dress up part of it.
