you are not allowed to try on underwear anywhere - should you buy a pair and decide you do not like them or they do not fit you can take them back to the store...but a little known fact - the store is NOT allowed to put them back on the rack - they must be shipped back to the company to be DESTROYED... it is for the safety of all of us...stupid but true

No - it's vey unsanitary.
Anyway, underwear comes in small, medium, and large - and it stretches. Odds are, it's going to fit you, and even if it doesn't , you're not out a lot of money.

Technically, yes, but I wouldn't. If you do, try it on over the pair you are wearing - no skin contact with it until you get it home and wash it. You never know who else tried it on and what they might have been carrying - like little critters or something.

No its not very hygienic... what if you try them on and don't like them and somebody else goes and buys them... thats like wearing somebody else's underwear, for the person that buys them

Yes, as long as you try them on top of your own undergarments or clothes. Nobody wants to buy something that has touched a strangers genitals. Not saying this about you, but there are extraordinary numbers of people with diseases that can be transmitted just through touch.
