prophecy isn't forbidden, it's what the book of Revelation
is all about. divining is restricted. and the only way one
goes to hell is through the rejecting of salvation. the
book of Daniel is prophecy also. read the bible before
making judgements. i see you have been fed a lot of
nonsense.

First of all, who the hell told you that Prophecy is forbidden? Do you understand that "Prophet" means "teacher"?
If someone tells you that you are going to hell, they are not prophesying, they are judging you, well, maybe.....
People get their terminology really mixed up when it comes to this issue.
If I tell you that you could be in jeopardy
of hell because you committed pre-meditated murder, I am NOT judging you,
I am REPORTING to you what God has
already judged as a sin unto death.
However, if I say to you "if you don't start
living a better life, you are going to hell" -
then I am clearly JUDGING you, and I have absolutely no right whatsoever to do that.
There are many great Prophets in Scripture;
you can read the Prophecies of Ezekiel,
Amos, Daniel, Joel, etc....and what are these writings? They are TEACHINGS.
And, I might add, extremely important ones.
Between what was foretold by the Prophets and taught by Christ along with the Apostles of the New Testament, Christ could make the statement in Mark 13: "Behold, I have foretold you all things" - and indeed He has.
This is why no person should discount the
Old Testament and only look to the New -
ALL of Gods Word, together, give you the
entire information that God wants you to
have a working knowledge and understanding of.
I would be really facinated to know where you got the idea that prophecy is prohibited
in the Bible. I thought as a teacher that I have heard everything, but this is a new one even to me...........

It's neither prophecy nor judging.
If you honestly tell a person that their sins will drag them into hell if they don't let go of them, that is the same thing as telling a person in a burning building that if they don't jump, they will die in the fire. Can you imagine a man on the ledge 8 stories up telling the fire man, "How dare you judge me? You have no right to tell me that if I don't jump down into your thingy down there that I will die in the fire!" How rediculous would such a fool be?
Another example may help. If you stand before a judge after having been arrested for something (we'll use breaking and entering in this case, but you can choose anything you want that would result in imprisonment), and your lawyer tells you that if this court finds you guilty you will be spending 90 days behind bars. Is THAT judging?
Come on now! Some common sense here will go a long way!
The examples are many, but hopefully you get the picture.

No it's a judgement call, and a rather arrogant one at that!!
We humans have no right to condemn anyone to hell. We do not know the individuals heart. We do not have the capabilities to do so. We don't have the power to send a rabid dog to hell for crying out loud.
All that is left between the individual and God.
If the individual is not for God, then he against God. One way or the other that individual will give God the information needed to make the decision on heaven or hell.
Then God will judge.

Semantics and word games.
The Holy Bible is very clear on what is required to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Yes, it's sad that some people use the "you're going to go to hell" reproach, but truth is truth.
Prophecy? Probably not. Observation of the actions of another and knowing the consequences of that behavior? Most likely.

First of all it is not prophecy, It is telling it like it is, & 2nd, There is no scriptures that says prophecy is wrong, It does say it is wrong if someone prophecy & it don't come to pass, like saying Thus saith the Lord tomorrow at 1;00PM this house will fall in & then at 1;05 PM this house is still standing, Now if you read the bible in the correct way in 1st Cor. `12;10 it speaks that we are to prophecy, & also Romans 12:6 Having then gifts different according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy-----

Wrong. Partially. Prophesying is NOT strictly prohibited in the bible...
FALSE "Prophesying" is strictly prohibited in the bible...
And since only God knows who will or will not "go to hell"...that indeed is false prophesying!

No. If you tell someone that they are going to hell but they don’t believe in hell then they will not go to hell. If you tell someone that does believe in hell that they are going to hell, then odds are they either (A) already know what it is that they did to get into hell so you telling them is not real revelation to them, or (B) haven’t done anything to get into hell in which case they still aren’t going. If, however, you believe in hell and you tell someone they are going to hell then it is actually YOU who will be going to hell for you have cast judgment (which is a very un-Christian thing to do) and the bible says judge not least you will be judged.

It's judging. That's prohibited int he bible too, right out of Jesus's smiling mouth. You ain't supposed to judge: Mat 7:1. Who's going to hell and who isn't ain't nobody's beeswax except God's.
So if prophesying is condemned in the bible, then I guess Isaish, Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, Malachi, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, and Joel are all burning in prophesying hell even as we speek, huh?
Ooooo. Bad news for the Old Testament guys. :)

No, it is a matter of opinion or a wish on your part. You can say their behavior is leaning that way, but you don't get to make that final decision. And unless you spend your entire life around them, you will not know if they have a change of heart.
