i have a proxima ask c100 projector & a ps3 im runnin a cable frm proj dvi to hdmi in ps3 i cant get a pic any advice appreciated

A couple of potential issues

The DVI port on your projector is not supporting digital DVI (DVI comes in to two flavors, analog and digital).

or

Your DVI port on your projector does not support HDCP copy protection. With no HDCP no blu-ray or HD-DVD player will play over HDMI.
