I don´t know about you, but I have a tradiotional treadmill and I made the terrible mistake to buy an eliptical; in my experience it was terrible cause I don´t know but my kness got all hurt and I got terrible swelling of one of my knees and gt bruised.
I think you have to be very careful when you do it with positioning your knees in a proper way; I stayed with the traditional treadmill.
Good luck! ;D

RE: Is an elliptical machine an effective way to unfastened weight? I am about 70lbs overweight and just bought an elliptical computer. It reallly wears you out! I used to be on it for like 10 minutes and it felt like my coronary heart was jumping out of my chest. I do know that's a usual reaction becuase I don't have any wellness problems (I'm 24). How will have to i take advantage of it? I heard...

I think you should return it and spend $800 on a 3 year gym membership where they have dozens of machines.
I use the elliptical at the gym for 45 minutes a day and I use this because it is not hard on my joints. I can't run or i would and the next best thing is the Elliptical in my opinion.
Stop working so much!! Didn't anyone ever tell you WORK SUCKS!!

Hi,
I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.ezunderstand.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 5.49$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

My methods are a bit more simple. A decent eating plan a jumprope and an aerobic step. Net cost CA $21.00 but anything that gets your heart pumping for 30 to 40 minutes a day is good. But you actually have to use it. The problem with buying any home equipment is that eventually we get bored with same old grinding workout. It becomes more work than fun..and since most of us do enough "work" during our day the thought of doing even more at home become more and more difficult to embrace. But like my best friends wife says about all the "machines of good intention" in their basement..."I don't know what it's for but it holds A LOT of wet laundry!". Good luck

It's a waste of money. There are only two things that will help you lose weight. Diet and Exercise. I use the Atkins diet--low carb and walk. It works for me. I've dropped nearly 50 Lbs. in just 3 and 1/2 months. I hope it works out for you.

I don't know much about the machine itself. I do however, know that my very fit son uses one at the gym and he has often come home very sore because he tends to overdo it. Once you do learn how to use it (suspect you could find instructions on line somewhere) be sure to start slow and build gradually.

Yeah , good stuff. One tip: focus on intensity by increasing resistance ,not trying to rotate at a million rpm's like all the desperate housewives do at the gym.

I have had some success using elliptical machines. For some reason, my gait is too erradict for a normal treadmill. (I just can't get comfortable on a treadmill)
