I live in Florida, and after calling the number on one of the many traffic ticket advertisements that had been coming to my house to see why I've been getting them, they told me that I have 5 outstanding tickets for running 5 Sunpass tolls all in the same day in Broward county. Now, they couldn't tell me how much the tickets were for (even though I'm going to fight tooth and nail to not pay these tickets becaue I HAVE a sunpass!), but they could tell me I also have $18 late fees for each of them.

The part about this that REALLY is p***ing me off is that I don't even live in Broward county. I live in Orlando, and was passing through to Miami-dade county to visit family. You probably go throught like 20 tolls all the way down, so how come THEIRS didn't register my sunpass?! AND, no one informed me I have tickets! I never got anything in the mail, my sunpass take money automatically out my account, and I never got so much as an e-mail from them telling me I was in default!

What do I do?

Receipt of an Unpaid Toll Notice may mean one or more of the following:

- There is inaccurate license plate information on your SunPass account;
- The transponder is mounted incorrectly, or not mounted, which results in your transponder functioning intermittently and causing toll violations; or
- The batteries in the transponder need to be replaced.

To resolve this matter, you must contact a Violations Representative at 1-888-865-5352, option #5, by the due date printed on the document. When you call, please have available your Personal Identification Number (PIN), transponder number, violation document and vehicle tag number to update your account information.

Having a sister who lives in Orlando, I was amazed at the problems she had with improper placement due to a unique window design on her vehicle.

Call the people at the above listed number and I'm sure they will be able to assist you in solving the problem.

Best wishes.

It would be cheapest to go to the Wachovia Center and by them at the Box Office. It you are registered and have an account set up with the Wachovia Center you can get access to Internet Pre-Sale for Events there. You will still pay some administrative fees when you buy tickets for events, where you buy them on the internet or by telephone. Moreover, if you are buying them at the box office and are using a credit card, you will still pay administrative fees. The only way to avoid most of the administrative fees is to buy the tickets at the box office and pay cash instead of a credit card.

This sounds really shady... I would contact the company and see because anyone could've made that call.
