Its called wan ton soup where i came from. Its like small little dumplings with meat/shrimp fillings. Normally served with some dry noodles and pieces of roast meat on it with the soup and dumplings served seperately.

It's delicious & a very quick dish. One can even refrigerate & when U don"t have time just put it in boiling water & its done in 5mins. Wan tun is made by wrapping the meat(usually pork mince) with ginger & scallions, wine, soy sauce, pepper & salt can also add sesame oil. The outside skin is made from flour & water, can be bought in the noodles shop. There are two kinds of skin one small the other large one.Just wrap it like a parcel or triangle. In the bowl with wan tun one can add any green vegetable, mince scallion most imp. don't forget to put a little seame oil.If U want to make it more tastier U can use chicken broth instead of the water. If U have any more question please be free to ask me.Bye

Filling Mixture for a Wonton - ground pork, ground shrimp, finely chopped water chestnuts, minced green onion including top, egg white, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch and salt is the recipe I use.
I freeze those I don't use and just plop them in the chicken broth frozen when I'm using them. You can add a little green onion and peas to the broth when serving as well as just a little thin sliced water chestnut if you would like.
