It is at heart a full time position. It is something that is weaved into my very fiber but I like all men/women, sin. When we sin we are apart from God, but that doesn't stop me from being a Christian. Neither is doing good make me a Christian. What makes me who and what I am is the study and a striving of being Christ like. To devote my life to the porpose that calls to every one but few answer.

If you define a "full time Christian" as someone who is constantly trying to follow God's will and work on their relationship with Him, then I am a full timer. In contrast, a "part timer" would be someone who only thinks about God occasionally (Sundays, at sporting events, when the weather is bad, when trouble happens, etc.). I equate a "part time Christian" with something similar to a "non-practicing Catholic."

If truly a Christian then you have salvation full time and not part time. That might be why some people would argue that you cant have a part time Christian. But whether you try to walk the Christian path full time or part time is the meaning I get from your question.

A very poignant question indeed...

Full Time against the drivel that is Christianity. I intend to fight the evil that this cult has put on the human race.

I'm taking it slowly and easy one step at a time, so part-time. God is patient and I've been confused by lots of doctrine and legalism lately.

The Pauline Gospel preached these days is nothing at all like the Kingdom Gospel Jesus preached, so you could really rephrase your question...are you a Christian at all?

Depends on whether you want to go to Heaven full-time or part time.

There are no part time Christians. You are either a Christian or your not.

I'm a Christian.

There is no such thing as a part time Christian. You either are, or you aren't. There are people who CALL themselves Christian but don't practice the faith. It will be up to God to decide where they stand.
