Tiddles my cat always runs in front of the car when you pull up on the drive way and you have to be careful, is there a way to train her not to do this?

Keeping it inside, or having a family member who is there before you take her in. If she does it with someone elses car & they don't know what she does, you may have a flat cat. I keep mine inside, it saves the local bird & small rodent population, & gets rid of it in the house! He seems happy, places to hide, things to knock over & play with while I am not there! He was a stry outside & since being inside, has no desire to go out, so it worked for us!

No, I don't think there is.
Your best bet would be to keep her inside when you are gone in the car so she can't do this.
I once had a cat that did this, she was always excited to see me and came to greet me so it was impossible to scold or punish her, she also liked to lay in the driveway and wait for me. Sometimes she would go out in the street, looking down the road for me. She eventually was hit by a car, she survived the first accident, she wasn't so lucky the second time.
The point I'm trying to make is, even though she was hit by a car, she didn't learn from that and didn't stop going in the street. I still miss her and wish I had kept her in.
Maybe you can learn from my mistake and keep your cat inside when you are gone.

Be EXTREMELY careful pulling in. One of the strays started doing that and I had to have my sig. other come out to do cat roundup while I left for work. When I got home I'd park on the street till I knew where the cat was and could pull in safely.

You can try beeping the horn, but that likely won't work and might irritate the neighbors.

is she an indoor/outdoor cat or just outdoor? if she is indoor/outdoor, you could stop that behavior by making sure she is inside when you come home. Otherwise I do not know how you would stop this. It is one of the many, many dangers of allowing an animal outdoors. I hope you have her wearing a breakaway cat collar and an ID tag if she should get lost or perhaps even stolen, which does happen.

LOL!! I thought our cat was the only one in the world that did this ...

We have tried everything to stop this out of fear that one day someone who is not used to this would hit him .... BUT with no luck .. he still to this day runs out on to the drive way we honk but usually end up having to get out of the car to move him body and bones!! .. we have tried it all nothing worked we ended up just warning people who were coming over!! ..

Good Luck ...

Get a spray bottle and fill it with Sour Apple scent. Spray the driveway.

Cats ARE stubborn, you will have to repeat this often.

I had a cat that did that once.

I accidentally ran over it but I did not have to train it after that.
