There are a couple of ways you can obtain emergency service police frequencies;

1) Radio Shack sells books that identify by State and Agency Name.

2) Do an internet search "Police Frequencies (Name of Agency or State)"

3) Contact the agency you're inquiring about and they should be able to tell you.

One thing to remember is many agencies are now employing the use of digital trunking systems where you have to obtain extremely expensive equipment to purchase.

My own agency uses both systems so you will normally hear routine radio traffic on the main system while more sensitive information is conducted over the digital system.

Happy listening!
