how come 1000s of years passed before he 'died for all'? Why did Jesus not die for all as soon as the world came into existence?

Am I missing something here?

Pst: if we all are one, and we thus judge if one died for all, then "were all dead". All dead = extinction, not salvation. Salvation is all live, none perish.

By law: all perish; as in Adam all die
By grace: none perish; in Christ all live

Die by the law = dead end, desolation, perdition.
Die to the law = become "alive" unto God(Grace).

Law: I will forsake you: Jeremiah 23:39
Grace: I will never forsake: Hebrews 13:5

Jesus: "forsaken", even though "right" on "high"
Christ: twice risen, after twice fallen to baby-lon

Pst: "Eternal salvation" is "through Jesus --> Christ".
Salvation in Jesus is temporal: saved + destroyed after.

Jesus: is only the Saviour of Israel; so some perish
Christ: is the Saviour of the world; so that none perish
To wit, that God was in "Christ" reconciling "the world"

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you-->all. Amen.

Well first off, it is a fairy tale. Second, you have hit on one of the major snags of the jesus fable. Since he was "the" way, then all those before him did not know him and went to hell. Also all those who died after his "resurrection" who had no chance of knowing him (i.e., because the new testament was not written for at least several decades afterward and word did not spread very fast) went to hell. Kind of god's "gotcha."

You are probably not missing anything. The human mind finds its own level and tends to hang around at that level.

Hope that serves as a comfort to you.

are you serious? Did you really put "Jesus died for all" and "the big bang" in the same question...I mean you actually made it sound like they were related to one another....

I would say you're missing QUITE a bit...

I think law of original sin and atonement was invented by paul and at the time of big bang paul was not born. probably Jesus never knew that paul would make up this blunder on his cruci-fiction.

This is the biggest problem with the bible. An omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent god acting in time linearly to our comprehension and seemingly having a change of attitude during our perception of this time. It's a little absurd.

Jesus was no god, and if he was real, he needed to be a god(play the part) in order for us to accept his advice and start loving each other instead of going on bloodthirsty rampages the god of israel supposedly commanded.

Because hell was made for the disobedient fallen angels and immediately in the Garden came the serpent the old devil and Satan who led the fallen angels and man chose the devil and disobeyed God.

Great question.

And what about all the Gentiles who were not included in the Chosen fold prior to Paul's inclusion?

Why would God encourage the Israelites to murder entire towns and keep them separate from Gentiles only to include them in the flock after Paul was converted?
