Since the steak is already cooked [?? is it?] then slice it very thinly, set aside. Then in a skillet, sautee onions & green pepper together [sliced thin works best] until they're crisp-but-cooked - and season with a little steak-sauce, HP, worcestershire or whatever. Toss in the thinly sliced steak and stir over medium heat just until the steak is heated thru. Add just a little hot water [2 Tbsp approx.] to loosen up the juices and produce a little pan-gravy. OR, in lieu of the water, stir in about 1/2 c sour cream and re-heat...Voila, instant stroganoff! Either would be just fine with the mashed 'taters...fix a tossed salad & some fruit, and you're a fast 'n easy chef!

Saute a little onion and garlic and mushrooms in butter. Add a little flour by sprinkling over the veggies - stir. Add some beef base and water to the mix, stirring to dissolve the beef base. Season with fresh ground black pepper. Continue to add a little water until it is the thickness you would like. Cook until the onions are soft. Slice your steak and put in the gravy to heat. Serve over your mashed potatoes. You can always use cornstarch instead of the flour but add that to a little cold water and add it after you have warmed up your meat in the broth mixture.

saute' some onions, mushrooms (you could also add green peppers and or tomatoes) in a small amount of butter until tender..in another small pan make a package of premixed brown gravy or mushroom gravy, add to your mushrooms and onions, slice your steak into thin strips and add to gravy, just long enough to heat through....pour over your mashed potatoes...serve with a side salad or steamed veggies...
