So sorry for your loss!

Definitely one (or all) of these five plus a Psalm:

Ave Maria

Wind Beneath my Wings

Amazing Grace

How Great Thou Art

(The Lord Hears) The Cry of the Poor

Psalm: Shephard Me O God, Beyond My Wants, Beyond My Fears, From Death Into Life

I just want to say that I am sorry for your loss and I will pray for you and your family. Tears in Heavan is great idea. I also like Brad Paisly When I get Where I'm Going...
Artist: Brad Paisley
Song: When I Get Where I'm Going
Album: Popular Songs [ Buy "Popular Songs" CD ]
[ Brad Paisley CDs ]
[ Brad Paisley Sheet Music ]

(Feat. Dolly Parton)

When I get where I'm going
On the far side of the sky
The first thing that I'm gonna do
Is spread my wings and fly

I'm gonna land beside a lion
And run my fingers through his mane
Or I might find out what it's like
To ride a drop of rain

(Chorus:)
Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here

I'm gonna walk with my grand daddy
And he'll match me step for step
And I'll tell him how I missed him
Every minute since he left
Then I'll hug his neck

(Chorus)

So much pain and so much darkness
In this world we stumble through
All these questions I can't answer
So much work to do

But when I get where I'm going
And I see my maker's face
I'll stand forever in the light
Of his amazing grace
Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
Hallelujah
I will love and have no fear
When I get where I'm going
Yeah when I get where I'm going

The person above me didn't read this question too well and perhaps they should try again. I know a song that if you can get past the fact that it's about a baby named Noah then it would be perfect. Noah died after just a few days also and a christian singer named Michael W. Smith wrote a song for him. He was the son of one of this close friends. I believe it's called Noah's Song and it's really really good. I know you had a girl, so it might be awkward, but you should at least try to listen to it. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear this, my prayers are with you. Back in 2002, my 16 month old nephew died. At his funeral, we played the Book of Pooh, I think is the name of the song. It is the theme song played at the end of the show of the same name, and the lyrics include "It is time to close the book, though we have just begun"... It was appropriate for his funeral and I believe would be appropriate for your daughter's.

im sorry for your loss. Perhaps you could add something about your daughter, her age, what kind of music you think she was into.. this would all help. No point playing a really sad song from a different genre that she wasnt into. Perhaps you could ask one of her friends for their advice they would probably know her taste. Again im so sorry for your loss. As i always say when an innocent life is taken - heaven must have needed another angel.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Perhaps 'Ribbons Undone' by Tori Amos? I think it's very beautiful.

'You're a girl
Rising from a shell
Running through spring
With summer's hand in reach now
It is your time
It is your time
So just run with ribbons undone
It is your time yes my angel
It is your time
So just run with ribbons undone

Run run darlin'
Ribbons undone'

All the best.
