Traditionally the wedding band goes on first, then the engagement ring. But many women wear it the opposite these days. It's a personal preference.

you could move it before, but if you dont... during the ceremony the officiant will usually move your engagement ring to your right hand and then your new husband with put your wedding band on your left hand.
After this, either after ceremony or next day, you can start wearing them both together - the BAND on the INSIDE and the engagement ring on the outside

Traditionally the wedding band goes on the inside, because its closer to your heart. But, you dont have to wear it like that. For an example I wear my engagement ring on the inside and my mother wears her wedding ring on the inside..Hope that helps :)

I believe it will depend on the person wearing the rings.
My engagement ring is a bit bigger than my wedding ring so I wear my engagement ring first before my wedding ring. For me, it is more practical to do this because I am scared that I will lose my engagement ring. My wedding ring is the anchor for both my rings. I have encountered several woman who do this too.
