You mean like...damn everyone to an eternity spent in agony and torture in the fiery pits of hell??? Actually...He doesn't. You are here for one thing and one thing only....to choose yourself...or to choose Him. To choose death or to choose life. If you choose death then death is what you get...the Bible teaches that the end of things will be by consumption of fire. When all is said and done on this earth, it along with all its contents will be destroyed. There is only one eternal life and that is with God. Apart from God there is nothing. There is no eternal punishment for sins...there is just distruction which is one punishment, one time, for eternity. I have massive scripture to support this but no one ever asks me for it and I doubt it ever gets read so I won't bother to paste it here. However, I do have it if you would like to see it? God is a jealous God, but He is God that loves much more astoundingly than He hates....there is nothing wrong with hatred if it is of a thing that is vile to you. When you were concieved you were a precious thing to Him and now, with the Blood of Christ to wash clean your sins, He can see you again as He once knew you and you are precious to Him even more so now cuz He paid such a high price for you. Love in Christ, ~J~

Why would you close the curtains in your living room before you sexually abuse your children?

Same kind of question - both are presumptuous and rude!

God does not damn ANY body. WE choose heaven or hell.

God even said, "Please, choose Life that you may live" (Jesus said "I am Life")

God cries out, "I do NOT desire that ANY one should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance". Elsewhere, God declared that He takes NO pleasure in the death of the wicked.

People break God's Laws (refer to 10 Commandments for more details).

ALL have sinned and fall short of God's expectations, but sin (not God) pays in death.

But ultimately, ALL sin is rebellion against God's authority, and tantamount (the same as) high treason, which is punishable by death in ANY culture or civilization!

Here is a verbal illustration, if you will:
You have in your hand a bomb. You are standing at the edge of a cliff. The bomb WILL go off. You can do one of 2 things - let the bomb explode in your hand, or toss it over the side.

That bomb represents sin. It WILL go off. If you insist on holding on to the bomb (your sins), you will experience the natural consequences. If, however, you let Jesus take your sins away, then you will be safe from the consequences when it explodes.

You see, the Bible says that even though Jesus had never sinned, He actually became sin and took the penalty so we wouldn't have to. That's how much God loves you! For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in, trusts in, clings to and relies on Him shall NOT perish but have everlasting life.

The choice is yours. Choose life or choose death. But GOD is crying out that you choose life.

You are coming at this backwards. God is the righteous creator who created us and sustains us. Sin is that which separates us from a righteous God. Without God we are merely sinful flesh which does die. God came to us to pay the penalty of death for us that we might live eternally with him.
without God there is no life we are his creation and it is he who sustains us.

Bad analogy but an analogy none the less.
Suppose you left your car running and for some reason...(In our case sin) We are separated from this car...The result would be the eventuality the car would die. The car will not continue on without the man sustaining it. When we leave God by way of sin then we cut ourselves off from God who is righteous and we can not sustain ourselves and we perish.
God made a way for a sinful man to be rejoined to him in righteousness by paying the penalty fo sin (death) for those who accept the atonement.

That is the freedom of choice. Why would God let you into heaven if you didn't believe in him when his word said you have to. God does not lie and is unable to lie.
We as Christians work hard to go to heaven. If God just let anyone into heaven what would be the point of us following he word? What is the point of satan and all evil?
This is the biggest choice in life you will ever make. HEAVEN or HELL ...RIGHT or WRONG.
I choice God and heaven even though it is not easy with all the pressure of temptations and evil out there.

1. You don't have to believe anyone will be damned, to be a Christian.

2. One point of view is that, after you're dead, you see God. Depending on what you've turned yourself into, that's either Heaven or Hell.

God does not...man is given the choice, free will...chose God and heaven...or don't....

take the titanic and drown...or take the bus and visit the farm....

God has given man every opportunity... man rejects God and then blames God for it....

"The idea of an omnipotent God who creates a creature capable of reason, then throws an eternal hissy fit when that creature doesn't spend all his time telling God how wonderful He is... Well it seems like rather insecure behavior for an all powerful, all loving being."

"God says do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in hell. That sir, is not free will. It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out. When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his imprisonment/execution. When god says the same we call him 'loving' and build churches in his honor. " — William C. Easttom IIt.

Sin always costs. It cost God His only son, who through Him we don't have to die. Your question should be, "what is it in my life that makes me rather forsake God than trust Him?" Is what you are living for really worth dying for??

You have a problem dealing with rules - right? God has put a choice into everything created and by this rule we must choose.
