I ran out of litter the the day before yesterday, and I couldn't get hold of the same type again, so I used a different litter. Since then, she hasn't even used it, but I'm almost certain she hasn't gone to the toilet anywhere else. I'm really worried now, what can I do?

This is going to sound weird but take warm water and put in on your finger tips while your kitten is in the litter box rub your finger over her private area. This will simulate what her mother used to to when she was little to let her know it was OK to go to the bathroom. If that doesn't work then go see a vet.

If your kitten is eating, she will go eventually.
Does she have fresh water and enough food?
She may not like the new litter you got for her, if that is the case, go buy the litter she is use to, mix the two together, put the kind she likes on top. Maybe you just haven't found where she went yet, but you will eventually. Kittens are very good at hiding it.
As long as she is eating and drinking water, and still playful, you don't need to worry that she is sick.

If she's acting normal aside from not using the box, she has probably found an alternative site. My cats got upset recently because of a new addition(who also wasn't box trained) and oh my can they hide where they went! Check laundry baskets, spare beds, corners of closets, behind end tables or anywhere they can get to and under anything they might pile up to "cover" the evidence. If your still positive she hasn't gone call the vet and see what they think.

This is strange. She should use it eventually. Doesn't she even pee? If not, maybe try to find another type of litter, and take her to teh vet to touch her tummy and say if her bladder is full, because that can be dangerous.

maybe its because of that you repaced the litter at once. if you got the old one, give him a choice:
the old or the new by putting one in the old box and get a new box with the new litter and place it side by side. there will he choose which one.
