You can either go to the police department and speak with the shift supervisor or call and speek with them (I personally suggest physically going there. Most departments are very compassionate towards complaints from the citizens and will take care of the problem. Don't listen to the people who say talk to the chief because as with the military there is a chain of command in law enforcement as well. Your best bet would be to start with the shift supervisor (which is usually a Lt.) and go from there. If nothing gets resolved that way slowly work your way up the chain and see what gets done.

I would like to know why you think the officer is harrassing you. You also did not say whether the officer had a probable cause reason for the traffic stops, even if for minor violations. If you are not a usual problem in the community, and honestly believe that you are being harrassed, then I highly recommend that you file an internal affairs complaint with the officer's superiors.

I'd contact the Police Chief and ask if there is a problem. Or you could hire an attorney to file a complaint against the officer.
Good luck.

Call your attorney about the searching your car multiple times like this. First the law has to see something in your car to have probable cause to be able to search your car...or you have to give your permission to do so... Otherwise he is breaking the law and you can file charges
This is law in Mississippi and I just asked my husband who is a justice court judge

Dude - your situation isn't the law enforcement officers. it is underage eating. i've got confidence that's a offender offense in maximum states, subsequently the term "underage". generally, in case you run from a dogs, it is going to chase you and bite you. the comparable is authentic of law enforcement officers, purely they do no longer generally bite. no count in case you're scared or no longer, historic past bears the reality that once a police officer tells you to end, that's especially recommended to end. take care of the information later.

File a complaint with the police department, and or municipal court, get his badge number if possible, and or name and file a complaint. Document the incidents, and save all the data. Hire a lawyer and consult him or her about it.

while he is following you, drive to the police station and ask to talk to the shift's supervisor. s/he will be able to handle it from there. But in general, police do not tend to follow people who have done nothing wrong.

you obviously gave him a reason to keep an eye out for you...
if you feel it's wrong you can call the station and file a complaint and let ia investigate his actions...
keep on the straight and narrow and you should be fine.
