"Because I find no evidence in a supernatural God (particularly the Biblical one) participating in my life's affairs" is a paradox of sorts . I for one am a genius. I was in the highly gifted class like malcolm from "malcolm in the middle". I am also a Christian. After spending years questioning His existence, i awoke in the middle of the night and had an epiphany.(i wasnt even christian at the time) and i literally laughed out lout in my bed, at how plainly obvious it was that God existed. The thing that did it wasnt just "things" like planets and animals etc, it was my internal me. I suddenly had this realization that even if evolution was true (which was a far fetch to begin with) it wouldnt account for my being self-aware . This is something you cant teach. I was talking to my cousin some days later about this and he told me about Rene Descartes who had the same idea a long time ago. I had never even heard of this philosophy(my cousin new about this man because he was taking a philosophy class at his university) and i had come to the same conclusion that Rene did, by myself . Point is , there should be nothing (not even an empty space). And even if nothing produced things , it wouldnt account for living things. and even if things produced living things, it wouldnt account for me existing. I dont mean my body, i mean me as in ,when i injure an arm, I feel it, it isnt
a chemical making the brain think it hurts, "I" feel it. This is a subject that no atheist can touch since scientists are 20,000 years away from beginning to mildly understand the human brain. LOL @ the human brain being more advanced than any super-computer and people walking around like "theres no God, we just magically appeared".They dont even have software to recognize the "catchpa" letters HA HAHAHAHA . This body of mine doesnt need my "I" to occupy it to fulfill its mission of eating, sleeping, and reproducing.I wont even get into the whole "How do animals know to reproduce, and how did they survive before the million year process to evolve the sex desire, and how do scientists know so much but they cant cure anything, launch spaceships that wont blowup, or solve crimes that happened this week". ill let that slide . "I think therefore I am"

not too earlier, a hundred% of Europe believed the Earth replaced into flat, and which you would be able to extremely fall off the sting in case you sailed too a undemanding techniques to the east or the west. in addition they believed the Earth replaced into on the middle of the universe and each little thing else - the solar, planets, stars, and so on - orbited around it - not any different way around. additionally, your survey is incorrect. I extraordinarily doubt this 80 5% have faith interior the comparable _G_od. particular, i will have faith that 80 5% of the international believes in some form of religion, yet Christian God isn't the comparable as Jewish God, the place as Shintoists have faith in great quantities of gods (not _G_ods) and Buddhists do not also have a God or god. Even Christians can not agree on God. there is what, 100s of sects decrease than Christianity that all and sundry have distinctive perspectives on God? Can Baptist God beat up Roman Catholic God?

Atheists will always find argument against the existence of God. When it comes to it, everybody has their own personal opinion, God gave us the power of free will, and unless an Atheist opens their mind to Christianity and wants to believe, no-one will change their mind. Personally i think all Atheists deep down long for clarity, where as Christians still find faith without proof, and as much as they can deny, i still think part of them wonders that there could be a God. After all, there is no hard proof of God, and yet no hard proof that he doesn't and never existed.

Hello? About 90% of the world believe in a god, and 1/3 believe in the Christian god. When you say "it seems like the world is full of unbelievers" it tells me you need to get out of your basement more often.

Because I find no evidence in a supernatural God (particularly the Biblical one) participating in my life's affairs or anyone else's. I also find no evidence of a God intervening in history. Natural disasters, death, wars and other horrible things occur throughout history and everywhere regardless of the victims' faith.

Prayer is clearly "hit and miss". Believers will credit good news as a miraculous answer to their prayers. But when things don't turn out well, many conclude it is God's plan, which we cannot know.

How is it that we were made in God's image, by a God with all too human personality and flaws, and are asked to accept his plans for us, yet believe all along that he works in mysterious ways.

Also, I see no evidence that miracles occur, and the Jesus for instance, produced such "signs" in his lifetime. Why cannot such "signs" be performed now? Didn't he tell his disciples they could these acts in his name? Why can't faithful missionaries heal the blind, deaf, possessed, amputees and bring those in a coma back to conscience?

Humans cannot violate physics. No way ever.

As a former Christian who seriously doubts the existence of the Biblical God, I must assume that the rest of the world's supernatural beliefs must also be false. That is why.

1.) There is a complete and utter lack of evidence supporting the God Hypothesis.

2.) The natural order of living things is to start out with very simple forms, and they evolve and become more complex over successive generations. The organism you postulate, "God", would have to be very complex indeed in order to create the entire, complex Universe from wholecloth. And the notion that God could just spontaneously exist without having to be evolved from simpler forms is a very very unlikely thing indeed -- so unlikely that, if you had started writing out the probability of such an occurrence happening at the start of the Big Bang, you would STILL writing zeroes to one against, 13.5 billion years later.

3.) More specifically, I can prove that the God described in your bible is a fallacy by mere logic. Certain things can be said to be impossible to exist because they have mutually exclusive traits -- you cannot have "square circles" or "married bachelors", for example; and you don't have to search the whole universe over in order to be certain. In a like vein, there cannot be an "infinitely loving and merciful" god who tortures people forever and ever...

so it is ok to insult atheist or non-believer or trying to convert them , but it is not ok to do the opposite ?

nice , thats what i love so much about the ' just ' part

our theory of whether god exist is no weaker than yours , infact ours are back with facts which you guys claim to be hoax

considering he is omnipotent like you guys all claim he is to be , and that he WANT us to be with him and so on .

and if that's true , imagine the number of people who will believe in god if he appear and tell all of us he exist ? yet he choose not to , this shows that he isnt interested in having everyone with him , because if he does he will just appear and say ' sup dude , i exist ' , just this mere 4 words to convince the whole world

and thats what i love most about believer , everyhting they do is right , and wadeva others do is wrong .

I believe.
I know GOD is real, I do not need to see HIS face when I see HIS grace.

I know in my heart and in my soul that HIS will is the will I FREELY have the right to chose or to reject.

I freely chose GOD'S Will for my life, HE created me and only GOD knows what I am to become and only HE knows the way I am to travel and reach the blessings that HE created me for.
