My dogs DO talk....just not the way you and I do. I can tell what my dogs are feeling through observing their body language and facial expressions. Observe your dog...you'll begin to know what he/she is saying to you!!

I used to think that I wish my dog or my cat could talk but then I really don't think so. I mean think about it, your dog hears you and sees you do a lot of things you wouldn't want everyone knowing LOL.

Besides, isn't that the best thing about your pets? You can vent to them and they can never make you feel stupid, or tell you you're just being whiney or have a different opinion than yours. It's great!

I miss my doggy though. She had the most expressive eyes and face and sometimes I thought I just KNEW what she was thinking. *sighs*

As crazy as it sounds I think it would be really interesting if all animals could talk. But I guess the desire for an animal to be capable of doing such a thing comes from what we see on TV and in movies.

A dog is probably the best friend you could have and for it to be able to give actual feed back as opposed to licking your face when your sad, would be a wonder.

Sometimes I wish he could, like now. He was scared by something yesterday and has not been normal since. I wish he could talk now and tell me what is wrong. Or when he is not feeling well I wsk he could tell me what is wrong. But most of the time I understand what is going on with him so it is fine he does not talk, especially since he knows all my deepest darkest secrets, that could eb dangerous.

No not really, he would just ask to come inside all the time and would end up being another family member and eat on the couch with us only that he is much hairier and smellier. Love my dog, but he is a dog and thats the way i like him

I just wish that they could talk when I see them sick. So they can tell what's wrong with them.
This is why I think vet medicine is one of the hardest jobs in the world.

Of course YES! That would be so coool! He wud be here when we want to talk to some1 about our secrets! Yaa, that wud be great!!! Wud have loved it if dogs cud talk. But dreaming is far from reality, so we have to wait a long time 4 our dogs to talk, maybe an eternity!! BUT WUD BE REALLY AWSOME, if they cud talk!!!

Yes i do because if dogs could talk you would be able to have a convosation with them if you ever got bored.

And they could have a good scence of humour too!

Definitely not! Silence on his end is part of the beauty of the relationship! Besides, his eyes tell me all I need to know.
