Make some arrangement for attending phones, but taking lunch in time is important. So if its brief period wait till some one comes else....

I would wait until someone gets back cause if anything goes wrong you will be to blame... plus a bonus is you can surf until someone gets back.
p.s your lucky i work in an office with my mom and she chains me to the desk ... lol

Check with your boss. Sometimes it's OK to let the calls roll over to voice mail, esp. when everyone in their right mind knows it's "lunch time" (ie, Noon to 1:00 PM).
But I definitely wouldn't make this decision unilaterally!

WHAT IS YOUR WORKING AGREEMENT,IF THE OTHERS GO OUT FOR MEALS,THEN YOU ARE ALSO ENTITLED TO DO SO,IF YOU ARE NOT PAID FOR YOUR BREAK DON,T ANSWER THE PHONE.iF YOU ARE PAID AS STAFF AND YOU ARE PRESENT WHEN THE PHONE RINGS THEN YOU SHOULD ANSWER IT,OR GO FOR YOUR BREAK WITH THE OTHERS.
