I think some people misunderstood you, they were saying how Adam impregnated Eve but your details clearly state: I meant: How did He (God) impregnate Mary?
I do not understand how he did that either but He is supernatural so I guess He can do anything. None of can say for sure if God is a male or female hopefully we will all find out the reason on judgement day.

That's cheating, fella: two questions in one! But I will endeavor to answer nonetheless.
God is neither male nor female at the top layer, but English does not have a neuter pronoun that does not sound disrespectful. The default pronoun is masculine. It's not really about gender, exactly; it's grammar.
Adam was made first because that's how the ancient Hebrews saw it (perhaps Hebrew also lacks an appropriately neuter pronoun?). The story is allegorical, and if you reference the Tree of Life in the Kaballah, you will see how all this fits in. The Kaballah illustrates many, many layers of existence before you get to the material plane: like dimensions to a modern mathematician. Once you get to the level of gender, you have male and female as abstractions before you have them as real personality/gender aspects. That's where the sexual identity (and the method of impregnation) is placed on the Tree of Life. This is still layers above the actual physical world, but in closer relationship to it.
I daresay "Adam" impregnated "Eve" much the same way it is done today.

We call God him because he is the God of Israel which is a patriarchal society (male supremacy).
There were actually two people made before Eve was made ... Adam and Lilith ... Lilith was kicked out of the Garden of Eden for wanting equality to Adam (hence the male supremacy again). Also this provides the explanation for when Cain left his family and went out to marry (He married Lilith thus helping to procreate and fill the Earth).
For more information on Lilith research the term "Succubi" on google.
Eve was made from Adam's body and was submissive in all but one time in which she ate from the tree of life.
I would suppose that Adam impregnated a woman like any other man would.
*EDIT* If you just look at what the society that Jesus was born into was like you can clearly come up with aan understanding for why the story for immaculate conception was created. Jesus was born into a society where a woman who is pregnant outside of wedlock is punished by being stoned to death. The immaculate conception was a means to save her life. It is mythical - she got pregnant by Joseph.

We simply call God a him because that's how it's recorded in scripture. We believe Adam was made first for the same reason. How did God or Adam impregnate a female? Adam? In the same way it works today I suppose. God? Since He created everything, I don't suppose it would be difficult for Him to pull that off. Do you?
In Christ,
Dennis

Up to about 5000 years ago, people worshiped female figures more than male figures, but at that period it changed and most deities were males. naturally, when monotheism arrived on the scene, it adopted the common practice of male Gods.
But of course, God is sexless, more than that, God is a fictitious entity.
for the same reason, the creators of the book of Genesis preferred the creation of a male man first, but of course, females are the more important part in procreation, and even studies of the human genome indicate that the first Homo sapience human was a single female (one Eve), from which we are all born, but that same female mixed her genes with that of four different males (4 Adams)

Of course God is male. I don't hold with all this New Age stuff- I'll take my cue from Jesus- he called God "Father" and didn't seem a bit confused as to gender. Even if it turns out that God IS Male-Female, I'm not worried. My God is able to handle a mere mortal's mistake.

the male gender just represents more strength than the female....God had to represent himself in a way that humans coudl understand him.....calling God "Him" is better than calling him "It"

Adam was made first out of Lilith's need for a husband, but she refused to lie under him as she found it too submissive.

Adam impregnated Eve like any other person: he snuck up on her, slid it in and started pumping away.
