I read somwhere that the BBC are aiming to move to digital by 2010 and switch off analogue TV. If this is the case, if i do not upgrade to Digital will i need to pay the licence fee? I never watch BBC 1 & 2 ever since channel 4 transferred over Simpsons and i have no intention of ever watching those boring channels as i only ever use my TV for my playstation and DVDs.

Get disconnected from everything and take the aerial away to prove this. In theory then they cannot charge you. However .
2 things: they will keep chasing you anyway, cos it is fun, and people get demands to go to court and prove it 'cos they don't belive anyone
2) they are claiming even the rights to any broadcast TV,even via internet. So you watch and get caught they will put your name down to prosecute.

And the whole thing is based on illegal invasion of privcacy anyway, but they say it's okay: Human Rights don't apply to normal people! Political scum!!!
