Is it because the US cannot gain full control of Iraq? Do you understand why those insurgents are fighting?
You people should blame your leaders. They applied the wrong strategy, and disaster is what they got.
One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.

just a skin, that is very sweet of you. I am from Thailand, so no I am not interested in joining the insurgency. Just trying to have a rationale debate.
Stupid American.

I mean, why should the Iraqis be forced to comply with American political and military standards?
Sounds an awful like a form of dictatorship to me.
Yes, a lot of people also died during Europe's Dark Ages and the American Civil War.

Because they kill US troops and are labeled as "The Devil" in the US's one sided, government censored media (which never mentions that 75,000+ Iraqi civilians have been slaughtered, plenty of them by US forces).
The articles you linked were quite interesting.
The general US public doesn't seem to understand that the Iraqi's do not want us there, trying to run their country.
The US media also doesn't mention the major oil corporations that Bush has lined up to loot Iraqi oil.

If you consider the insurgents to be Iraqi freedom fighters, then what to you consider the members of the Iraqi police force and military? You know, they are the Iraqis who are trying to help set up a government that the Iraqi people voted for.
Now, tell us again which is the terrorist and which is the freedom fighter.

I served in Iraq.
And as a result I fully understand what those terrorists are doing and what their political goals are.
The only people who think that "One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist' are clueless idiots who cannot tell the difference between acts of combat commit ed against an enemy's armed forces and somebody who car bombs a religious shrine because the people praying there follow a different faith.

Here's some advice for you: Get off your computer and join the insurgency. Square off against the US military (oh, that's right. You don't really fight. You sneak around and murder anyone who gets in your way or doesn't believe what you do). Hey, tell Saddam F- you for me when you see him in hell.
EDIT:
OK, so now we're getting somewhere.....You want to have a rational debate. You, who would compare freedom fighters to terrorists and consider them on the same level; you who come on here with an obviously biased question with a clear slant towards murdering terrorists and against the US; you with the terrorist-looking avatar! YOU want a rational debate??!?? I don't believe you. You are NOT seeking enlightenment or knowledge. You question is far too transparent. Perhaps you are too isolated from the realities of terrorism to understand that there is no such thing as a "rational debate" when it comes to terrorism. These people who's religion and their principal goal in life is to kill Americans cannot be dealt with rationally! They want to kill Americans and they've proven it. They will attack and kill innocent people without regard. All for their radical purposes that cannot be justified, no matter how hard you try to bend the truth. How can you rationalize that??
You are ignorant. From what I've read, it just appears to be the truth. And you are apparently choosing to remain ignorant. Now, that's stupid.
Stupid Thai.

JustAskin has given a great answer.
"I mean, why should the Iraqis be forced to comply with American political and military standards? " - it is not just American military standards, there are other countries involved as well - heard of the UN?
There is no rationalizing with the irrational and ignorant.

Ever consider the fact the insurgents are terrorists? They view women as some sort of low life, nut to be used for anything. They believe America is bad and corrupt since we do not believe in the same "GOD".
Our leaders are doind what is best to keep America together and stopping these people. If you don't agree with the insurgents, you might as well kiss your life goodbye since they don't take prisoners. And if they do, you will be tortured.
Get rid of them

If they want to blow themselves up, they should do it, but do it where no one else would get killed or hurt. They're so barbaric in their fighting. In most religions, suicide will send you straight to hell, not to heaven. Hahaha good riddance, we didn't need them in this world anyway.
