Christian and spirituality. . .why are Christians condeming people of other religions on this page? First off, let me save you the trouble, by giving us a bad attitude about our religion, you are making us hate christians more and more. Second off, we respect your religion, why can't you respect ours? I thought Christians were supposed to set an example of Christ! Well, you aren't winning me over, so I guess I'm goin to hell. Whatever.

Don't get me wrong, I love everyone, it's just sometimes Christians can be a little overbearing. And you know what I'm talking about too.

As a Christian I object to being stereotyped as a group of people with no respect for other beliefs or non beliefs. As a group we should only be stereotyped as those following the teachings of Christ. People tend to pick out the persons in a group that are the loudest, crudest, least informed, and ill equipped intellectually to handle intelligent information exchange with those of differing opinions. We cannot exclaim the Good News of Jesus if we turn people off. I personally welcome all opportunities to exchange information concerning my belief and listening to those that are different. Only then can we truly understand each other. You are the one choosing hell but as long as you are still asking questions and reading answers you have the opportunity to make a better choice if after you have explored all options that is what you want.

I don't know how long you have been on this site, I have been here for over 14 months, & most of the last 14 months, all I have seen was Muslims & athesists & Different other so call religious groups condemming TRUE Christians, A True Christian will only tell the truth & when they do, then the religouis people gets so upset that they think we are condeming others, The Truth will set you free, & Religious people that will get upset over the truth looks at us condeming you all. While in turn Everyone is really condeming true Christiananity. In my 37 yrs. as a Christian, I have been condemn by many people, I am use to it now.-----Let me add to you continue question, You say what makes me think that your religion is not true, Show me in my answer where i said your religion was not true, I did not say anything about your religion, but now since you like to fire back at me, that does show me that you have just condemned me, So where does that put you, I did not put you there, you did.

I don't 'hate' anyone ... hate is like a disease that encompasses our lives by affecting every area with bitterness and bad attitudes.. i dont wanna be like that... i have seen too many people, christian or 'religious' or otherwise.
as for condemning anyone? that isnt my job either.... condemning is judging and convicting someone by our own standards... God sets the standard in my life and I gotta do what I can to live up to that.
Do i know the truth? I think i do... i was on the other side of Christianity for a long time... and nothing anyone 'said' changed my life... until i picked up the bible and started reading it for myself... God opened up my heart to understand what He said thru people and I found that Jesus Christ is the Truth. it isnt just something 'in a book'... when I accepted that truth, and turned from the crap my life turned out to be at that point... and turned to Jesus for salvation, God changed me... inside and out... and that change is visible to many people and they now see a new person and comment on it.
I can respect that you don't want to believe the way I do... I may not agree with it but i can respect it... I think some christians just don't get that not all people will become Christians... and it isnt up to them to convert the world, but only to be Christ to people.... their condemning wont bring people to Christ but as you well know, chase them away instead.
I hope you can find peace in all this... and disregard those who spew hate

relax. there are all kinds of people on this R & S section - some good, some bad, some downright ugly.
There are certainly a good number of Christians on this site - but I read a lot of pretty sarcastic and unkind stuff from non-believers, too.
Certainly Christians are called to exhibit the love of Christ in all they do or say - and if they do not do this, they are failing....
But, hey, I realize that this R & S section is like mud-wrestling.
Laugh, wipe off the mud, and as long as you here, enjoy the game....

Hi.Not all Christians are condemning people of other Religions.Nobody can make you hate Christians,only you can do that. I certainly respect other Religions.Actually my Religion teaches me to love every person created by God ,because He loves everyone unconditionally and we are expected to do the same .

Please someone correct me if I am wrong in my way of thinking...
Isn't RELIGION suppose to based on kindness and goodness? That it what I was taught. I am Christian/Catholic. I don't criticize what others believe. I think its healthy to have the strength in ones heart to follow what they believe as long as it doesn't HARM OTHERS!!! Isn't that the main point??

wow. i think i am really glad that i don't come under this topic very often of that is the case. but here is something you should know. christians believe that there is only one person in this world who can judge another and thats god. no christian ever has the right to say "your going to hell". and no christian has the right to make themselves or their religion seem superior to anyone elses. it seems to me that the people on here are bible thumping fruit cakes that are to busy to actually pick up their bible and read it.
please keep in mind not all christians are like this. yeah unfortunately alot are but not all. and know that we as humans should only judge eachother for who we are and not what we are! we are all equals and beloved children of god. and nothing is going to change that. least of all how we worship him.
