Why is my broadband so slow?

Our internet was fine on broadband at a 1gb download limit, we decide to upgrade to 12gb, and ever since we upgraded it's been slow, like worse than dial-up speed slow.

It's weird though, the broadband speed shows off when downloading files eg mp3 files from P2P software, but it's only slow when actually browsing internet web *pages*.

Why would this be?

You might be bumping against the web server at the other end. Is it slow when yiu access major sites?
