Everyone goes through boot camp basic training, Officers go to OCS ( Officers Candidate School ) after boot camp.
If you are in the military already then just go to OCS

No, you will go to OCS. As a Registered Nurse you will start out as a LT, either a 2nd Lt or a 1st Lt depending on skills obtained from training.
Basic Training is for enlisted only. Officers go through a course similiar but it focuses more on leadership than regular basic. You would be a nurse, not a medic. Medics are usually enlisted men/women that can be trained up to paramedic status.

Nurses are Officers and require a 4 year degree. they go through a version of OCS/OTS( a shorter version with less emphasis on the physical and more on how to wear the uniform and be a proper Officer)
Enlisted personnel, depending on Branch are medics/Corpsmen. anyone without a 4 year degree would be enlisted. They go to bootcamp/Basic training.
going from enlisted to the Nurses' Corps requires the completion of the 4 year degree as well as applying to transfer over, and it is a very competitive field.

ARMY-go straight to OCS!!! do not go medic first! if you have a degree in nursing already stick with the nursing. you dont need all that exta bs for nothing! NAVY- you can start with OCS or go enlisted, its worth the experience. navy corpsmen are the best medics in the military. it is fairly easy to go officer (seaman to admiral program) in the navy. AIR FORCE- I've little experiance with them. probably just go OCS.

Nurses are all officers. Thus You go to OCS instead. It's bootcamp-lite....
