about 2 dogs attacking my son does any1 know what this means as it really shook me up and i could not get back to sleep for quite a while afterwards

Don't worry too much about it. You are probably very concerned about your son. Try to trace the content of the dream to events that had happened prior to your dream. The clues may tell you something about what is one your mind (sub-consciously).

This may be an indication that your son is under great pressure.
The two dogs are you and your husband as in real life.
Perhaps, prior to your dream, your son has been reprimanded very harshly by the two of you.

dogs represent immoral issues. Being attacked by the dog means that immoral issues are attacking someone or latched on to them. Look closely at his behavior.

how old is he, a teenage ,? maybe check who he's hanging around, maybe he's in trouble or needing advice or help...
