I agree with the idea that God will always love us no matter what.
Also is the idea that we rebel against God because we want our independence from Him. The prodigal son left the country so his father would not be an authority over him and would not even know what he was doing. We too like to do our not so good deeds in the darkness.
Also is the idea that we pursue happiness in material things and not in relationships until we realize how foolish that is. Relationships are all important and things are not.
Also from the brother's view point. The brother wants to use his relationship with the father to get materials things and is jealous that the prodigal son will get something. Where is the brother's love?
And the idea that there are consequences to our immoral actions for the father tells the older brother, all that I have is yours. That means the younger son no longer has a material inheritance (but still has the father's love)

To me the moral of the prodigal son is that no matter how badly we behave our Heavenly father is always there for us to forgive us and by His gift of salvation redeem us to our place in His family to fellowship with and worship Him.
The DA vinci code is a work of fiction done to make money and try to turn people from the truth of God's word.

......then one day he met Delilah (meaning "weak, poor"). He fell so deeply in love with her. Delilah was convinced by the Philistines to figure out Samson's weakness. After three failed attempts, Samson told Delilah his hair was his source of strength. She ordered a servant to cut his hair while he was sleeping, thus robbing him of his strength and power. The Philistines then captured him, tortured him, and killed him. His love was his downfall. He was betrayed in the arms of the one who meant the most. A moral from this story? Be careful of the people in whom you place your trust - can you ever really trust anyone? Keep your thoughts to yourself. However, I would say that Love is the ultimate betrayal for in it you lose yourself.....as the allegory of Samson losing his hair.... Halcon

Parables are story that relates God's relationship with man.
So the story's moral is that If you belong to God, then you rejected him, he is waiting like the father for you to return to Him, and if you returned to Him he will still accept you even after all the things you did to offend him. :)
