He periodically gets an irritating rash in his ears and paws. The allergy will make him itch badly. If he gets a really bad case of the allergy he will get a huge cyst on his paws. We have had allergy tests (blood work) done by the vet -- and he does have some allergies to some kinds of foods. So, we have him on a diet of "raw" food to avoid the allergins in the food. We wonder if this allergy could be caused by the environment. Do any of your dog owners have any experience with these kinds of problems with your pure breed dog -- if so, what have you done to control the symptoms?

My brothers English Bulldogs have the same issues. He has them on the same diet you do. He also treats areas weekly. regardless of rash or cysts or sore spots. The vet gave him antibacterial soap and a medicated ointment.
With all the folds of skin it is very common in the breed.

Good Luck

Many dogs have very sensitive skin and allergy problem. My cocker is allergic to grass and he get rashes on his feet and stomach and neck. I give him benadryl every night and morning. helps a lot. I also put a lotion on his rashes call "Gloves in a Bottle" which is GREAT for him and you. It's the first thing I've found that helps. He doesn't get on the grass very often. Quick potty break and he comes back in.
